Problem of the week




A 1 Butterflies
To feed 2 butterflies the zoo needs 5 drops of nectar per day. How many drops would they need for 12 butterflies?
Show all your working and explain your answer in as much detail as possible.

    I sovled the problem by thinking that if 2 butterflies had 5 drops of nectar then 4 butterflies had 10 drops of nectar and 6 butterflies would have 15 drops of nectar and 8 butterflies would have 20 drops of nectar and 10 butterflies would have 25 drops of nectar there for 12 butterflies would have 30 drops of nectar---- By Robinson Room 15
